Plat Tunisien

Ingredients:

  • Tunisian Salad: 1 cucumber, 2 tomatoes, 1 onion, 1 bell pepper, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp lemon juice, salt, pepper, 1 tbsp dried mint
  • Mechouïa Salad: 3 bell peppers, 1 tomato, 1 onion, 1 garlic clove, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp coriander & caraway, salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 potatoes, 1 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp tbsp harissa
  • Olives and capers

  • Tuna
  • Chopped parsley and onion

Steps:

  1. Tunisian salad: Dice the vegetables, add oil, lemon, and spices. Mix.
  2. Mechouïa: Grill, cool, peel, and blend. Add oil and spices.
  3. Cook the diced potatoes with turmeric. Drain.
  4. Heat the oil, crack the eggs, and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Arrange: Tunisian salad, mechouia, potatoes, eggs.
  6. Add tuna, variations, olives, and capers.
  7. Add harissa, chopped parsley, and onion.
  8. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil.
